Brett Henderson grew up in the Cleveland, Ohio area and is part of a large family in which he is one of seven children. He was constantly learning about business strategies throughout his childhood through his grandfather's business, Henderson Industries, and through his father's successful career in Sales and Management in various mid-large size corporations.
Brett began his undergraduate education at Otterbein College where he played NCAA DIII basketball for a year before transferring to the highly ranked Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. He graduated with a BS of Business Administration in Marketing and Sales. Brett furthered his business education by earning his Masters of Business Administration in Management at Cleveland State University where he graduated in the top 10%, earning the Beta Gamma Sigma award of Business Excellence.
Brett has traveled internationally meeting with large companies such as BMW, Voith GMBH, Deutsche Bahn, and Carl Zeiss Inc., where he met with various department heads to discuss management, processing efficiencies, R&D, and resource and asset management.
Brett's professional career started in the electronics recycling and asset management industry in which he still works today. He works with Fortune 500 companies, school districts, healthcare systems, universities, government agencies and other small to mid-sized businesses to maximize the recovery value in obsolete electronics and equipment. Brett has experience and expertise in asset management, sensitive data protection and destruction, procurement, sustainability/environmental footprint goals, and sales and purchasing in the commodities market both domestically and internationally. Brett has managed sales teams while penetrating new markets. His main goal is to continuously broaden his knowledge, skills, and abilities in the industry.
Brett had served for 3 years on the Board of Directors for the Carolina Recycling Association; Finance Chair.
